Experience

Uri Snir joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP as an articling student in 2014. After his articles, Uri was hired to provide litigation support in the form of drafting and research for various commercial litigation matters, arbitrations and mediations. Uri also provides complex damages analysis briefs to support both plaintiff and defendant matters, particularly in securities litigation.

Before obtaining his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, Uri studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business and later worked as a Derivatives Analyst at one of the large Canadian banks.  Uri’s financial services background makes him invaluable to the firm.

Uri has supported firm matters in a number of practice areas, including securities litigation, employment litigation, and financial services litigation.

Uri enjoys an active lifestyle, and loves to give back when he gets the opportunity. He plays basketball and tennis weekly, and participated in this year’s CIBC Run for the Cure to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
