Experience
Aidan Testa joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP as an associate in 2026. He first joined the team as a summer student in 2024 and returned for his articling term in 2025.
Aidan earned his J.D. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While at Queen’s, Aidan was heavily involved in the Moot Court program. He competed in four moots, winning the Best Respondent Oralist and Best Respondent Team awards at the 2024 Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot. Aidan also served as Senior Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Aidan has published academic articles on administrative, competition, and constitutional law in multiple Canadian law journals
Before law school, Aidan obtained his M.A. in Philosophy, specializing in Political and Legal Thought at Queen’s University, and his B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy and History from the University of Toronto. During law school, he worked at the Conflict Analytics Lab, a legal technology research group.
In his free time, Aidan enjoys cooking, mixology, playing tabletop games, and travelling.
